“I have been volunteer for Special Olympics Washington for more then 16 years. I started the Bremerton Kitsap Athletic Teams (BKAT) Sports Program in 2002 in Basketball with two teams consisting of 13 athletes. I now oversee as the BKAT Program Coordinator which support over 400 athletes, 100 unified partners, more then 75 volunteers and 30 coaches who participate year round in 14 sports along with 4 unified team sports. I have enjoyed sports education & training, program development, and community outreach. I am absolutely privileged everyday to work with incredibly athletes that are my inspiration through their sheer dedication & determination to always give sports their BEST! , I have competed as Unified Partner on BKAT Chuck’s Tigers in golf. USA Games experiences: in 2010 local training our power lifter Ricco Morales, who went on to be the first Athlete of the Year for Washington, 2014 assisting Athletics in New Jersey, 2017 North America Golf Tournament HOD Team Washington and excitedly looking forward to first time Head Coach for Team Washington Unified Softball at 2018 USA Games.”
